Reviews of A Fine Romance
. . . a fun book with a great story and wonderful characters. I’d recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of contemporary romance. ~ Kindles and Wine
I don’t know whose story is next but I know I’ll be one of the first to read it. I’m really enjoying the series with its eclectic mix of personalities and sexy heroes and this one was hard to put down. ~ The Book Nympho
A Fine Romance was sexy and romantic, and everything I look for in a plot as far as contemporary romances go. ~ Sizzling Hot Books
If you like a fun contemporary romance, you will like A Fine Romance by Christi Barth. – Harlequin Junkie
It was a cute, easy read. Something to relax with and dream of chocolate sexcapades. ~ Reading Between the Wines
With enjoyable characters, a well developed and nicely written plot, sparkling sensuality including some lovely food play; A Fine Romance is just that. Christi Barth has created another winning installment in this fun series and I’m already looking forward to the next one! ~ Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews
This is perfect for readers looking for an easy afternoon read with lots of funny banter and emotional intensity; A Fine Romance is a must read. Enjoy!
I found the authors writing style to be captivating. This is a delightfully well-written romance with characters that are charismatic yet antagonizing. The author crafted wonderful scenes full of dialogue that are both hilarious and realistic. This is not the {SWEET} romance depicted on the cover. It was more like a chemistry experiment; one minute everything is going along smoothly…then BOOM – no eye brows. The magnetism between Sam and Mira was incredible; the author also did an amazing job of writing Mira into the group naturally.
Reviews of Ask Her at Christmas
Christi Barth is a new author to me, but I couldn’t get enough of Ask Her At Christmas. The friends to lovers trope has always been one of my favorites during the Christmas holidays.
The opening scene in Ask Her At Christmas is so believable that it’ll make your heart drop like it did Caitlin’s. It’s obvious that Caitlin and Kyle were meant to be together, but in order for that to happen, Kyle … has to wake up and realize that the woman of his dreams has been right there in front of him all along before it’s too late.
…Christmas is the season of miracles and Ms. Barth does an excellent job of showing that if you just believe, all of your dreams can come true.
Ask Her At Christmas is full of drama, angst, joy, unrequited love, and a scrooge by the name of Monica to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. So, if you haven’t picked up a copy of Ask Her At Christmas, then you’re missing out because this is one Christmas story that will warm your heart, put a smile on your face, and a tear in your eye as our hero and heroine struggle to find their Happily Ever After. ~ Black Raven Review
Reviews for Planning for Love
“Barth’s contemporary trilogy launch charms readers with a delightfully intelligent heroine who believes firmly in the power of love. Fans of wedding bells and sassy contemporaries will love the well-drawn chemistry and a heroine with brains and heart.” ~ Publishers Weekly on Planning for Love
“Readers who are in love with love will be charmed with this book, the first in a planned series. Every page delivers a promise of innocent flirtation, unsuspected romance and tender devotion. Barth is a writer of admirable narrative energy, and her background as a wedding planner makes this book truly believable” ~ Four Stars from RT Book Reviews
“‘I so glad that I got this book, it will probably be one of my favorite contemporary romances of the year! I can not say enough good things about this book. All of the things I loved the most about the Bride Quartet series by Nora Roberts: the friendship between co-workers, the elegant and amazing weddings, and the beautiful core romance were all just as fabulous in Barth’s story. Add in the playful writing and sexy interludes, and it was an all around incredible contemporary romance read”. ~ The Book Pushers
“Planning for Love is the whole package: from the blissful cover to the delicious description and the aptly chosen title you know that you’ll get a deliciously sweet and romantic love story that will make you feel warm and fuzzy and sigh with happy contentment”. ~ Book Lovers Inc.
““Planning for Love” by Christi Barth is the epitome of a great summer read. It is fun to read, filled with funny and endearing moments and is wonderfully entertaining. It also has a highly romantic climactic moment that leads to a heartwarming happily ever after. This feel-good story put a big smile on my face that lasted for several hours after I finished reading it.” ~ Romance Novel News
“The story line is amazingly complex and interesting, the dialog moves at a good pace…but it’s the entire cast of characters that makes this book so intriguing. Planning for Love is the first book in The Aisle Bound Seriesa and I am already anticipating the next release. ~ Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews
“Ms. Barth’s writing style is quick paced and full of fun banter between the characters. PLANNING FOR LOVE is a great read!” ~ The Book Girl
